One of our regular readers with contacts in the conspiracy community has agreed to help out by securing interviews, and we should have our first video sometime within the next few weeks. While a few of the things I've heard from UFO experts, Dan Brown fans and the like strike me as half-baked, he assures me that this kind of content will build credibility with our readership.
More importantly, I'm hoping it'll invite healthy skepticism and debate. Given strong public discourse and rigorous research, the truth always comes forth. That's how it's worked with other controversial historical topics, from recent debates in bible scholarship to the whole question of whether The DaVinci Code was based in any kind of fact (which it's not).
We'll see what comes out of these interviews. Editorially speaking, I'm both excited and apprehensive.
